Kacey Wiseman MSN, RN, CPN, VA-BC
Kacey is the Clinical Coordinator of a vascular access team at a pediatric tertiary medical center in Boston, MA. She is a dedicated pediatric and neonatal vascular access specialist with experience in device insertion, education, and policy development. Her contributions to vascular access are shared through publications and presentations at the local and national level. Kacey was presented with the Excellence in Nursing award in 2023.
Actively involved with the Association for Vascular Access, she has served as the conference Design Team chair in 2023 and is the current chair of the PediNeoSIG Executive Leadership Committee. She specializes in addressing catheter failure, vessel preservation, and complex PICC insertion with ECG tip navigation. Additional ongoing work includes interdisciplinary investigation focusing on the intersection of vascular access and race. Kacey is committed to advancing clinical outcomes and cultivating improved patient experiences.
