About Moira McErlean, BSN, RN, VA-BC
Moira McErlean, RN, BSN, VA-BC, is a pediatric vascular access expert with over 30 years of experience, currently serving on the Pediatric Vascular Access Team at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. She is the President of the North East Ohio Association for Vascular Access and holds certifications in both CRNI and VA-BC. Moira has led initiatives in PICC and PIV team development, ultrasound-guided access, and evidence-based practice improvements. She is actively involved in national and regional professional organizations, including the Association for Vascular Access and the Infusion Nurses Society. With a deep background in clinical education and policy development, she remains a driving force in advancing pediatric vascular access standards.
