About Mark Rowe, MNSc, RNP, VA-BC
As a veteran nurse with more than 30 years of experience, Mark Rowe pioneered the vascular access service and peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) program at one of the most well respected medical centers in Arkansas. Early in Mark’s career, he successfully petitioned the State Board of Nursing to allow the use of enhanced techniques and ultrasound for PICC placement.
An active member of the larger professional community, Mark has held various leadership roles within a prominent vascular access association and has lectured on vascular access throughout the United States and internationally. He continues to advance the field of vascular access, serving as a clinical preceptor.
