Mary Beth Davis, MSN, RN, VA-BC
Mary Beth Davis has 17 years of experience specializing in pediatrics and vascular access. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Nursing in 2005 and attained her Masters in Nursing Education from Mount Mercy University in 2012. She has years of leadership experience in various profit and nonprofit organizations. Mary Beth is a PhD Candidate at the University of Iowa College of nursing and has contributed to scholarly advancement of pediatric vascular access and nursing by actively leading and participating in research. She has presented on numerous occasions locally and nationally regarding pediatric vascular access care and maintenance, vascular access team development and has published on clinical issues related to vascular access and nurse leadership. She is passionate about quality improvement, evidence-based practice, education, and enjoys working in a multidisciplinary setting in order to improve patient outcomes.
