Melinda Webb, BSN, RN, VA-BC
With over 20 years of experience in vascular access nursing, Melinda Webb is a dedicated clinician, educator, and advocate for best practice. She provides vascular access support across inpatient and outpatient settings, placing PICCs, accessing ports, and inserting IVs for patients from infants to adults.
She teaches regular vascular access classes in her health system with emphasis on PIV education for onboarding new nurses as well as clinical nurses. She also regularly educates clinically nurses on CVAD care and maintenance.
As a member of the CLABSI prevention committee and a VA-BC–certified nurse, she is passionate about advancing vascular access best practices, enhancing patient experiences, and empowering nurses through education and skill development.
